Eugene’s Story

Pastor Eugene Miller is a native of Dalton, Georgia. Pastor Miller is a humble servant of God. He is a man who loves God. He enjoys family time, relaxing, reading and learning whatever he can to share with others.

Eugene graduated from Emory Street High School and attended Albany State Technical School in Albany, Georgia. He received an Award of Excellence from the Alliteration Institute for Introduction of Designing Sermons in 2011. He received his Certificate of License and his Certificate of Ordination on October 14, 2012 at his Ordination Service. He received an Associated Degree in Biblical Studies in 2015 from the North Carolina College of Theology. He has been preaching and ministering since 2012 on the battlefield for Jesus.

He was Pastor at Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Rocky Face, Georgia from March 2013 until the fall of
2019 when he became one of the Pastors at Christ Community Church. He preaches at the 11:00 a.m.
service each Sunday.

Pastor Miller hosts Bible Study each Tuesday morning at his restaurant (Miller Bros Rib Shack). He

ministers to the sick and shut-ins. He has as mission to make sure all are saved. Eugene is passionate
about Christ.

He and his wife are owners of Miller Bros Rib Shack which has been in business since October 12, 1982.
Eugene married his wife, Claudia (Powell) on June 27, 1970. He has two sons: Eric (Viola) Miller and
Brett (Briann) Miller. He has four grandchildren (Devan, Amber, Olivia and Maxwell) and two great
grandchildren (Jasmine and Gabriel).

His favorite Bible verse is: Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that
trusteth in him.

His favorite song is: Tomorrow by the Winans

He is dedicated to living by example and encouraging all to live up to their full potential in Christ.
He is committed to teach and preach the word of God. His passion is to reach the unsaved.
