Chuck was a high school and collegiate athlete which has led to his years of ministry with student athletes.  He attended the University of Georgia on an athletic scholarship.  While at UGA, Chuck began his love for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He also holds a Masters of Divinity, New Orleans Baptist Seminary.

 

Over the years, Chuck has focused his ministry on making Jesus known to others.  His true passion has been outreach to the youth in the community.  He has served in various roles with FCA including area director.   Chuck has served as the Dalton High School Football Team Chaplain since 1992.  Additionally, he serves Jesus through his involvement with various charitable organizations. 

 

Chuck preaches at the 9:00am service at Christ Community Church.  He also leads community Bible Studies, including “A Word from the Word.”

 

Chuck’s life verse is Galatians 6:14 – “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world was crucified to me, and I to the world.” – NIV
